To Maximize Your Unit'S Cooling Efficiency, Calculate The Required Btu According To The Conditions Of The Room In Which It Will Be Placed. For Rooms With A Lot Of Sunlight, Choose A Unit With At Least 10% More Btus Than What Is Required By The Size Of The Room. For Kitchens, Select A Unit With 4,000 More Btus Than What Is Required By The Size Of The Room. If The Room Will Contain More Than 2 People On A Regular Basis, Add An Additional 600 Btus Per Person.
