Refund policy
Town Appliance offers a 30-day return policy from the date the merchandise ships. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, eligible merchandise in new, unused, and undamaged condition may be returned to our warehouse, subject to the terms, conditions, restocking fees, and exclusions listed below.
To start a return, please contact our customer service team at (732) 364-5195 or service@townappliance.com. Returns must be approved before being shipped back. Items returned without approval may be refused.
Before Purchasing
Many return issues can be avoided by checking product details before placing your order. Please review all specifications, dimensions, installation guides, cutout requirements, door swings, airflow requirements, fuel type, gas type, voltage, and delivery access before purchasing.
For built-in appliances or larger products, please measure the installation space, delivery path, doorways, hallways, stairs, elevators, and any areas where drawers or doors will need room to open. If you are unsure, please contact our appliance experts before placing your order.

Product Images and Specifications
Product images are for reference only and should not be the only thing used when making a purchase decision. Images may show a similar model, different color, different configuration, handle style, finish, feature example, or design example.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all specifications, dimensions, installation requirements, cutout requirements, fuel type, gas type, voltage, accessories, and other product details before purchasing. Specifications and product details may change at any time based on manufacturer updates.
For the most accurate and current product information, we recommend confirming important details on the manufacturer’s website or contacting our appliance experts before placing your order.
Damaged Shipments
Please inspect your appliance carefully before signing for delivery. Check the product, packaging, and all visible areas for damage. If the item appears damaged at the time of delivery, do not accept the delivery and contact Town Appliance right away.
Visible damage, delivery damage, and defective-on-arrival issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or before installation. Missing parts, incorrect items, or concealed damage must be reported within 15 days of delivery. These reporting windows apply to delivery-related claims only and do not change the 30-day return window for eligible products that meet our return policy. Claims reported after these timeframes may be denied or handled under the manufacturer’s warranty, when applicable.
If your item arrives with minor or cosmetic shipping damage, Town Appliance may attempt to replace the damaged part or bring the product back to factory standard condition, when possible, so you can avoid returning a working appliance due to a minor cosmetic issue.
Defective Merchandise
All new products sold by Town Appliance are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Defects, malfunctions, or other product issues are handled through the manufacturer's warranty rather than as returns. For support, contact Town Appliance at (732) 364-5195 or service@townappliance.com.
Manufacturer warranty terms may vary by brand and product. Residential appliances used in commercial settings may not be covered by the manufacturer’s residential warranty. Manufacturer warranty is void once the product is taken outside the continental United States.
If your product experiences a manufacturer defect or malfunction within the 30-day return period, Town Appliance may, at its discretion, work with the manufacturer under the applicable warranty to have the product repaired and restored to factory-standard condition. If the manufacturer deems the product irreparable, we will pick up the item and either exchange it or provide a refund.
After the 30-day return policy period, Town Appliance will assist you in working with the manufacturer for parts, repair, or replacement under the manufacturer’s warranty. You may also contact the manufacturer directly.
Town Appliance is not responsible for installation, uninstalling, re-installation, shipping, delivery, or related service charges when a replacement, repair, return, or exchange is authorized, unless otherwise approved by Town Appliance.
Return Eligibility and Conditions

Returns may be accepted within 30 days from the date the merchandise ships, provided the item is returned in its original shipping condition and in a closed, unopened box.

All returns must be approved by Town Appliance before being shipped back.

Items must be returned in new, unused, and undamaged condition, or in the same condition in which they were received, with all original packaging, accessories, product literature, UPCs, and blank warranty cards.

Unopened appliances returned in their original shipping condition and closed, unopened box may be subject to a 25% restocking fee (subject to approval).

Opened appliances may be eligible for return only with Town Appliance approval and may be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Appliances that have been used, installed, plugged in, or powered on cannot be returned and are subject to the manufacturer's warranty (see Defective Merchandise).

Final Sale, Special Order, custom order, non-cancelable, and non-refundable items cannot be returned.
- Floor models are sold "as is" and cannot be cancelled or returned.

Rebates must not be filed, claimed, or redeemed.

Free shipping, rebates, discounts, and promotions may be voided upon return or refusal of merchandise.

Returns due to fit issues, incorrect measurements, wrong product selection, or ordering the wrong appliance are subject to restocking fees.

Shipping, delivery, installation, haul-away, and related service charges are non-refundable unless otherwise approved by Town Appliance.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping to our warehouse unless otherwise approved.

Products should be returned using the same type of shipping method originally used for delivery.

Large appliances originally delivered by freight or truck delivery may need to be returned by an approved freight carrier.

Items moved from their original delivery location may not be eligible for return.

Air conditioners, accessories, and commercial laundry equipment may not be eligible for return unless otherwise approved by Town Appliance.

Town Appliance reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet this policy.
Refund Policy
Approved refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected by Town Appliance.
Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method when possible. Credit card refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on the card issuer or bank. For orders paid by check, refund checks may be issued to the billing address on file. In some cases, refunds may be issued as store credit.
Order Cancellation Policy
You may cancel an order at any time before it ships, unless the item is marked as non-cancelable, non-refundable, final sale, special order, custom order, or otherwise ineligible for cancellation.
Certain products may not be eligible for cancellation once the order has been confirmed and processed. When applicable, this will typically be disclosed on the product page, in the cart, and/or during checkout.
Town Appliance reserves the right to cancel orders at any time.
